I arrived at OCAS as a stray, so my history is mostly a mystery. The team at the shelter is helping me with some skin issues. I am a very sweet boy. I'm treat motivated. I did well for my exam and vaccines. I'm a little shy but interested in food and attention!My friends say I take a minute to warm up, but I'm super sweet and enjoy playing in the play yard.Insights from my foster friends and adventure buddies:Boogie is the sweetest puppy ever! He is very cuddly and would be perfectly happy spending the day curled up on your lap. Boogie needs a family who will be willing to help with some training as he isn’t quite potty trained yet and likes to jump up on you and grab your food. BUT he's very young and trainable, and he is absolutely worth the time and effort for all the love he has to give. Boogie and I spent the day cuddling on the couch and he got to try a puppy burger from Cook Out (which he obviously loved). Boogie doesn’t seem to care much about going for walks and would much prefer to snuggle with you on the couch. My favorite thing about Boogie is the way he looks at you like you are his whole world. Boogie can be shy at first but once he warms up to you he will be attached to your hip. He wants nothing more than to love you and be loved in return. He is truly one of the most precious dogs I have ever met. Boogie is an absolute sweetheart. He loves people and always wants to be around you. He will snuggle up right next to you, especially on the couch. He would also sleep in the bed all night right next to me. It doesn’t take him long to get attached and become a loyal companion. He loves to play with stuffed animals but wasn’t the biggest fan of walks. He was pretty sensitive to noises outside like cars that drove by, which made him turn around and head back to the house. He had no problem going outside to use the bathroom, walking was just a harder task for him. However he does love riding in the car. Boogie’s personality is so funny to watch. He would make the goofiest faces and was constantly making me laugh. His eyes are also so adorable and make my heart melt.Boogie went out for a cozy rainy day! We stopped and got him a pup cup while he just chilled and slept in the back seat of the car! He loved exploring new spaces in the apartment. Boogie was able to play with many toys! Boogie does not know personal space exists! He loves to be all up in your space and he’s having the time of his life! He can get very playful and bouncy around with toys then run back over to me waiting to be given love! Boogie did get some exposure to cats through a gate. He just sat quietly and wagged his tail watching them! He was a little too excited to see them closely but I think he might do well with slow introductions to a cat in the home and they could be best buds! He then took a nap cuddled up by my side in the couch before we took him back! Boogie loves hard and you can tell how much he loves by the way he looks at you!
